Wendell R. Stemley is the Founder, President, and CEO of Black IPO, Inc., a construction management and engineering firm established in 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Southern University and is an alumnus of Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. Under his leadership, Black IPO has facilitated strategic partnerships between minority-owned businesses and major corporations on mega projects nationwide, contributing to more than $1 billion in completed construction projects.

Mr. Stemley previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Myriad Industries, Inc., where he played a key role in the company’s private placement and recapitalization, leading to its public listing on NASD in 1992—making it one of only five African American–owned firms listed at the time.
